Consultingwerk.CommonUi.Components.TreeView.ListSerializableTreeNode UpdateNodes (ListSerializableTreeNode)
Purpose: Saves the changed values of the given nodes and returns the
refreshed nodes
Notes: SCL-5849. The registered providers do not declare the node
types they own, so the nodes are grouped by node type (in the
order of the first occurrence) and each group is offered to the
registered providers implementing ISmartUpdatableTreeNodeProvider
in registration order; the first provider returning a valid list
has handled the group. A group no provider handles raises a
TreeNodeUpdateNotSupportedException. Every provider call runs
its own transaction, so an update spanning several providers is
not atomic: the validation errors of all groups are collected
and raised together in one TreeNodeValidationException, whose
UpdatedNodes carry the refreshed nodes of the groups that were
saved. Any other error stops the dispatch.
Call it outside of a transaction (as the web handler and the
DynamicTreeViewControl do): inside an active transaction the
provider saves are subtransactions, and raising the exception
from this method undoes the saved groups as well, although
UpdatedNodes still reports them
