BuildSystemHandleList ()

Purpose: Builds the comma-separated list of system handle type numbers
Notes : Mirrors the Proparse grammar's systemhandlename rule (which
includes SUPER and THIS-OBJECT). A system handle heads a
Widget_ref attribute chain in an expression and may be the
target of an assignment (SCL-5490).

Top

BuildWidnamePrefixList ()

Purpose: Builds the comma-separated list of widname prefix type numbers
Notes : Mirrors the keyword-prefixed alternatives of the Proparse
grammar's widname rule (DATASET id, BUFFER filn,
TEMP-TABLE filn, ...) - the systemhandlename alternative is
covered by the system handle list instead (SCL-5500)

CHARACTER GetFullText (integer)

Purpose: Returns the full keyword text of a keyword token type
Notes : Mirrors ABLNodeType.getFullText: the lower case text of the
type's constant (sub-total for SUBTOTAL, maximum for MAXIMUM),
independent of the abbreviation written in the source. The
tree parser names the implicit variables of an aggregate
phrase after it (SCL-5788).

Parameters:
piType INTEGER
The token type
Returns CHARACTER
The full keyword text, or the empty string for a type that is not a keyword
Top

INTEGER GetTypeNum (character)

Purpose: Returns the numeric value of a token-type constant name
Notes :

Parameters:
pcName CHARACTER
The token-type constant name (e.g. ACCUMULATE)
Returns INTEGER
The numeric token type, or 0 if unknown
Top

LOGICAL IsIdentifierKeywordType (integer)

Purpose: Returns whether the given token type is a keyword that may serve
as an identifier (an unreserved keyword)
Notes : Mirrors the Proparse grammar's unreservedkeyword rule by data:
the type is a KEYWORD, is not RESERVED, and is not a no-argument
built-in function (TODAY, TIME, NOW, ... stay value atoms in an
expression). The statement / expression parsers re-type such a
token to ID at identifier positions, matching the .NET engine.

Parameters:
piType INTEGER
The token type
Returns LOGICAL
Logical value indicating if the type may serve as an identifier
Top

LOGICAL IsKeywordType (integer)

Purpose: Returns whether the given token type represents an ABL keyword
Notes :

Parameters:
piType INTEGER
The token type
Returns LOGICAL
Logical value indicating if the type is a keyword
Top

LOGICAL IsReservedKeywordType (integer)

Purpose: Returns whether the given token type is a reserved keyword
Notes : Backs the member re-typing after a colon: a reserved keyword
that is not a system handle becomes an ID there (the reference
engine's TokenList.reviewObjcolon, SCL-5499)

Parameters:
piType INTEGER
The token type
Returns LOGICAL
Logical value indicating if the type is a reserved keyword
Top

LOGICAL IsSystemHandleType (integer)

Purpose: Returns whether the given token type is a system handle keyword
Notes : The Proparse grammar's systemhandlename rule (SESSION,
THIS-PROCEDURE, CURRENT-WINDOW, SELF, ...) - including SUPER and
THIS-OBJECT

Parameters:
piType INTEGER
The token type
Returns LOGICAL
Logical value indicating if the type is a system handle keyword
Top

LOGICAL IsWidnamePrefixType (integer)

Purpose: Returns whether the given token type is a widget-kind keyword
that may prefix a named widget reference
Notes : The keyword-prefixed alternatives of the Proparse grammar's
widname rule - BUFFER b:..., TEMP-TABLE tt:..., DATASET ds:...,
QUERY q:..., FRAME f:..., ... (SCL-5500)

Parameters:
piType INTEGER
The token type
Returns LOGICAL
Logical value indicating if the type is a widname prefix keyword
Top

LoadKeywords ()

Purpose: Loads the keyword table and expands all legal abbreviations
Notes :

Top

LoadTypeNames ()

Purpose: Loads the token-type name -> number table
Notes :

Top

CHARACTER ResolveDataFile (character)

Purpose: Resolves the propath location of a data file shipped with this
package
Notes :

Parameters:
pcFileName CHARACTER
The bare data file name
Returns CHARACTER
The fully qualified file name
Top

INTEGER TestLiteralsTable (character, integer)

Purpose: Returns the token type for a candidate identifier
Notes : Mirrors NodeTypes.testLiteralsTable: a lowercased identifier
is looked up in the (abbreviation-expanded) literals map; the
supplied default type is returned when it is not a keyword.

Parameters:
pcText CHARACTER
The identifier text
piDefaultType INTEGER
The type to return if the text is not a keyword
Returns INTEGER
The resolved token type
