Method Detail

CHARACTER CharacterValue (JsonObject, character)

Purpose: Returns the character representation of a scalar JSON value
Notes: JSON numbers and booleans are converted through their typed
getters, as the JsonObject does not convert between the JSON
data types (a GetInt64 on a JSON string value fails with
error 16060)

Parameters:
poValues Progress.Json.ObjectModel.JsonObject
The JsonObject with the values
pcProperty CHARACTER
The exact name of the property in the JsonObject
Returns CHARACTER
The character representation of the value

CHARACTER NodeKey (SerializableTreeNode)

Purpose: Returns the key token identifying the given tree node in a
delimited list of checked nodes
Notes: SCL-5833. The token is the values of the KeyFields of the
node's detail spec, comma joined in the order of the
KeyFields - e.g. "5001,4" for an order line node with
KeyFields "Ordernum,Linenum". A node without a detail spec,
without KeyFields or without a value for one of them has no
stable identity and returns the unknown value; such a node
can still be checked in the user interface, but it is not
represented in the CheckedNodes value of the tree view.
The token carries no node type, so two nodes of different
types with the same key values share a token

Parameters:
poNode Consultingwerk.CommonUi.Components.TreeView.SerializableTreeNode
The SerializableTreeNode to return the key token for
Returns CHARACTER
The key token or the unknown value when the node carries no usable key

Consultingwerk.Framework.Collections.CharacterDictionary NodeKeyValues (SerializableTreeNode)

Purpose: Returns the key values identifying the given tree node
Notes: SCL-2033. The key values are the query string values of the
node's ChildNodesUrl and the KeyValues of the node's detail
spec. A key contained in both is taken from the detail spec.
This is the dictionary passed to ISmartTreeNodeRefreshProvider:
GetNode and the NodeKeys passed to server-side event handlers

Parameters:
poNode Consultingwerk.CommonUi.Components.TreeView.SerializableTreeNode
The SerializableTreeNode to return the key values for
Returns Consultingwerk.Framework.Collections.CharacterDictionary
The CharacterDictionary with the key values, empty when the node has none

CHARACTER ValueLiteral (handle, character, JsonObject)

Purpose: Returns the ABL literal of a key value for a query string
Notes: The literal is built based on the data type of the buffer
field, when the buffer is valid and has the field. Otherwise
the JSON data type of the value determines the literal: a
JSON number is used as a decimal literal, every other value
as a quoted character literal. A JSON null returns the
unknown value literal. Numeric and logical values are
accepted as JSON strings as well (e.g. the node keys parsed
from a ChildNodesUrl query string)

Parameters:
phBuffer HANDLE
The handle of the buffer of the data source, may be invalid
pcProperty CHARACTER
The exact name of the property in the JsonObject
poValues Progress.Json.ObjectModel.JsonObject
The JsonObject with the key values
Returns CHARACTER
The literal to use in the query string

CHARACTER WhereClause (character, handle, character, JsonObject)

Purpose: Builds the where clause expression (without the WHERE keyword)
matching the given fields against the values of the JsonObject
Notes: Fields without a value in the JsonObject are ignored. The
property names of the JsonObject are matched case-insensitively
against the field names. The fields are qualified with the
buffer name when one is given

Parameters:
pcBufferName CHARACTER
The name of the buffer used to qualify the field names, may be empty
phBuffer HANDLE
The handle of the buffer of the data source (for the data types of the fields), may be invalid
pcFields CHARACTER
The comma-delimited list of field names
poValues Progress.Json.ObjectModel.JsonObject
The JsonObject with the field values
Returns CHARACTER
The where clause expression or an empty string when no field has a value
