ClearField ()
Purpose: Clears the clipboard
Notes: Not named Clear, as CLEAR is an ABL keyword

CopyField (handle, handle, character, character)
Purpose: Copies the field of the given eField buffer into the clipboard
Notes: Replaces the previous content of the clipboard. The custom field
properties of the field are copied along

Parameters:
phField HANDLE
The handle of the eField buffer, positioned on the field to copy
phFieldProperties HANDLE
The handle of the eFieldProperties buffer of the same dataset
pcSourceTableName CHARACTER
The resolved source database table of the field (database.table or table), empty for calculated fields
pcSourceFieldName CHARACTER
The name of the source database field, empty for calculated fields

CopyFieldPropertiesTo (handle, character, character)
Purpose: Copies the custom field properties of the copied field to the
given eFieldProperties buffer
Notes: Existing properties of the target field with the same property
name are overwritten

Parameters:
phFieldProperties HANDLE
The handle of the eFieldProperties buffer to copy the properties to
pcTempTableName CHARACTER
The name of the temp-table of the pasted field
pcFieldName CHARACTER
The name of the pasted field

HANDLE GetFieldBufferHandle ()
Purpose: Returns the handle of the buffer holding the copied field
Notes: The buffer is positioned on the copied field record. Raises an
error when the clipboard does not contain a field

Returns HANDLE
The handle of the clipboard field buffer
